Fabric selection for Quiltmakers This workshop addresses the quiltmaker's most common lament, "How do I choose fabrics for my quilt?". A practical approach to the subject of color, students will apply basic color theory to printed fabrics and experiment with expanding their own palette and adding elements of interest and "sparkle" to their work. Taught in a discussion/paste-up exercise format, the workshop is designed to offer growth in both color theory and selection of prints, with an eye toward analyzing your personal "stash" of fabrics and building a dynamic fabric inventory.
